SoundCloud support is experimental. Behavior, supported controls, and stability may change between releases.
Request+ ships a local SoundCloud handler that reads track metadata and supports basic playback control. Unlike Spotify, YouTube Music, and Apple Music, there is no dedicated desktop client — Request+ talks to SoundCloud directly.

Setup

Enable SoundCloud

In Request+, open Settings → Music → SoundCloud and toggle the integration on.

Sign in

Sign in with your SoundCloud account when prompted. Some actions require an authenticated session.

Test playback

Request a SoundCloud track from chat or paste a SoundCloud URL into the Request+ search bar to verify it queues and plays.

Known limitations

  • Not all playback actions (seek, shuffle, repeat) are available.
  • Track metadata may be incomplete for some uploads.
  • Some geo-restricted or private tracks won’t resolve.
If you hit an issue, please open a bug report so it can be tracked toward a stable release.
